Aseem Tyagi

Aseem Tyagi is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in credit risk management and data analytics, currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist in Credit Card Strategy at SoFi since April 2024. Previously, Aseem held the position of Lead Data Science Analyst at Discover Financial Services from July 2022 to March 2024 and worked as a Senior Risk Analyst at LendingPoint from August 2021 to July 2022. Aseem’s career began at WebBank, where responsibilities included managing credit risk for consumer and SMB lending portfolios. Aseem's educational background includes a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology. Aseem also gained experience through an internship at PwC India and served as Project Head at Connecting Dreams Foundation.
