Jean-François Burguet

Jean-François Burguet has a range of work experience in various companies and roles. Starting in 2013, they worked at Sofina as the Principal and Head of Digital. In 2014, they became a Non Executive Director at Vives Louvain Technology Fund, a role they held until December 2019. In 2015, they served as a Board Observer at Knewton until June 2019. From 2017 to 2021, they held multiple roles including Board Observer at 1stdibs.com, The Hut Group, and adjust.com. Jean-François also served on the Advisory Committee at betaworks from September 2017 to December 2019. In 2018, they became a Board Observer at Graphcore. Lastly, they pursued an MBA at The Wharton School from 2012 to 2014.

Jean-François Burguet began their education journey in 2003 when they enrolled at Ecole Polytechnique de Louvain. There, they pursued a degree in Electromechanical engineering, Mechatronics and graduated with an impressive distinction of MSc. Magna Cum Laude in 2008. Following this, Burguet attended Université catholique de Louvain from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Venture Creation and Entrepreneurship.

In 2012, they furthered their education at The Wharton School, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Private Equity & Venture Capital. This program lasted until 2014.
