Ekaterina Gorshkova

Ekaterina Gorshkova is an experienced Apache Kafka Engineer currently working at SOFTEC since January 2022. With a diverse background as an External Trainer on Apache Kafka, Kafka Connect, and Kafka Streams since May 2021, Ekaterina has previously served as a Software Engineer at KENDAXA Group and an External Contractor at Česká Spořitelna a.s., leading data streaming solutions and participating in various development projects. Prior roles include positions as a Software Architect at BSC Praha and Sitronics Telecom Solutions, along with a Software Engineer role at Borland. Ekaterina holds a PhD in Computer Science and a degree in Applied Mathematics from Saint Petersburg State University.
