Radost Ivanova's work experience begins in 2012 at ATM Electronics, where they worked on surface and SMD mounting technology and PCB assembly techniques until December 2013. In 2015, they served as a Layout Design Engineer for MELEXIS during a summer practice. From 2016 to 2020, Radost worked at the Institute of Mechanics, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, where they held various roles as a Research Assistant. Radost'sresponsibilities included research and development, executing national and EU projects, analyzing specific areas, presenting experimental results in national and international events, training new employees, collaborating with foreign partners, and working with high-tech measuring instruments. Within this role, they specialized in researching polymer nanocomposites and their rheological, thermal, electrical, and mechanical properties. In 2018, they were a Guest Researcher on the H2020-Graphene 3D project at MackGraphe, Mackenzie Presbyterian University. Radost continued their work as a Guest Researcher on the H2020-Graphene 3D project at the University of Salerno and INP BSU in 2019. In 2020, Radost transitioned to the role of a Chemical Engineer at the Institute of Mechanics, where they focused on polymer nanocomposites and their relationships between "rheology-structure-properties." Currently, they are employed as a Business Analyst at SoftGroup, starting in April 2021.
Radost Ivanova earned their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Technical University of Sofia, which they attended from 2010 to 2014. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Microtechnology and Nanoengineering at the same institution, completing their studies from 2014 to 2016. Radost Ivanova then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the Institute of Mechanics, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Radost'sdoctoral research focused on the rheology, structure, and properties at the percolation threshold of polymer composites with graphene. Radost successfully completed their PhD studies from 2017 to 2021.
