Dilnika Soysa has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2006, they worked as a Journalist cum Newscaster for MTV/MBC Channels Pvt. Ltd., Capital Maharaja Organisation. Dilnika then moved on to the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation, where they served as a Programme Presenter from 2007 to 2011.

From 2008 to 2014, Dilnika worked at HSBC, starting as a Banking Assistant and later becoming a Senior Banking Associate. Dilnika was responsible for promoting credit cards and personal loans, managing a team, reviewing credit card rejects, and handling renewals and fraudulent activity.

In 2014, they joined Softlogic Finance PLC as an Assistant Manager, focusing on promoting investment products to high net worth clients and managing their portfolios. Dilnika also assisted with seasonal and promotional activities.
