Mohammad Sayyadan has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Mohammad is currently the Chief Executive Officer & Founder of SoftMaker Robotics Inc., where they lead a team in producing and developing soft robotic products. Mohammad focuses on enhancing the quality of the product based on feedback from customers and expanding the customer base through marketing efforts.
In addition to their role at SoftMaker Robotics Inc., Mohammad serves as a Reviewer for Springer Nature Technology and Publishing Solutions, IOP Publishing, Mary Ann Liebert, Inc., and IEEE. These positions involve reviewing various publications and providing expert feedback.
Mohammad also worked as an Advisor/Consultant in Soft Robotics Projects at Outsmart Insight for a short period in 2022. Previously, they served as the Director of Soft Robotics Research Projects at IPHAco from 2018 to 2021.
Before venturing into the field of soft robotics, Mohammad worked at the Iranian Tobacco Company (ITC) as a Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineer from 2009 to 2018.
Mohammad Sayyadan completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering-Manufacturing and Production from Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University from 2001 to 2006. Then, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mechatronics Engineering at Islamic Azad University, Science And Research Branch, from 2011 to 2015.
In addition to their degrees, Mohammad has obtained several certifications. In 2010, they received a certificate for the "Operation of Focke Cigarette Packing Machine" from JTI (Japan Tobacco International). From 2012 to 2014, they underwent specialist training in programming PLCs and gained certificates in "Basic Programming of PLCS-PLC211" and "Intermediate Programming of PLC-PLC222" from Festo. In 2014, they obtained a certificate in "Specialist training: Valves in Process Automation" from the same institution.
In 2014, Mohammad obtained a certificate in "Modern Industrial Pneumatics- PN111" and in 2015, they earned a certificate in "Design of Pneumatic Controls- P122," both from Festo. In the same year, they also received a certificate for participation in the final stage of the "articulated flexible manipulator enabled by new granular media jamming" at the creativity exhibition organized by The 3rd RSI International Conference on Robotics and Mechatronics, ICROM 2015, in Tehran, Iran.
Continuing their specialization, in 2015, Mohammad completed a certificate in "Programming with C++, Core level" from Tehran Institute of Technology. The following year, they acquired an expert level certification in "Programming with C++" from the same institution. In 2016, they also obtained a "LabVIEW" certification from HLCgroup.
Mohammad'smost recent certifications include "Mastering the basics of electric drives- ED 811" from Festo in 2015 and "Mechatronic- AUT 211" certification from Festo in 2017.
Overall, Mohammad Sayyadan has a strong educational background in mechanical and mechatronics engineering, with multiple certifications in programming, automation, pneumatics, and related fields.
