Greg Azar

Greg Azar has held various IT leadership roles throughout their career. Greg started as a Technical Consultant at Nerds on Site from November 2002 to December 2003. Greg then worked as a Network Architect/Consultant at Vozar Business Networks from January 2004 to March 2005. Greg then joined Nexius as a Manager of Business Operations from March 2005 to July 2010, where they oversaw the global corporate IT infrastructure and Help Desk operations.

Following Nexius, Greg worked at comScore, Inc. from July 2010 to June 2015. Greg first served as a Senior Manager of Product IT, managing the hardware design and implementation for the backend area of the product. Greg then became the Director of IT, responsible for overseeing Network Engineering, Documentation, and Production Operations.

After comScore, Greg joined INOVVO, a startup business resulting from a divestiture, as the Director of IT Operations in June 2015. In addition to their previous responsibilities at comScore, they also managed the Operations and Network Infrastructure of the company. Greg implemented a plan to migrate Inovvo's application architecture to the Cloud.

Currently, Greg Azar is the Director of IT at Software AG Government Solutions, where they have been since December 2019.

Greg Azar attended the University of New Brunswick from 1996 to 2001, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In 2022, they obtained the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) from GIAC Certifications. The following year, in 2021, they earned the Okta Certified Professional certification from Okta, Inc. In 2019, Greg became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate through Amazon Web Services (AWS). Furthermore, in 2001, they obtained the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification from Microsoft. Additionally, they acquired the Certified Novell Administrator certification from Novell in 2002, although the specific month is not provided.
