Wouter Knigge

Wouter Knigge has a diverse work experience, starting in 2006 at APL Netherlands. Wouter worked in various roles within the company, including Sales Account Manager, Manager Outbound Customer Service, and General Manager Sales. In these positions, Wouter was responsible for managing teams, improving processes, and maintaining customer relationships.

In 2012, Wouter joined Software Improvement Group (SIG) as a Consultant. Over time, they progressed to become a Senior Consultant and then a Principal Consultant. In these roles, they supported SIG's strategy to create a healthier digital world through software, guided internal teams and clients, and contributed to product development.

Wouter's expertise and contributions led him to be appointed as the Chief Operations Officer (COO) at SIG in 2017. As the COO, they focused on the efficient management of consultancy services, working closely with principal consultants and their teams to deliver high-quality services to clients.

Currently, Wouter holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at SIG. In this role, they play a crucial part in implementing the company's strategy by supporting the development of the Sigrid Platform and facilitating product teams and roadmaps. Wouter also works to bring together internal teams and clients to guide the company's way forward towards a healthier digital world.

Wouter Knigge holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Information Technology from the University of Groningen. Wouter completed their bachelor's degree from 1998 to 2000. Following their bachelor's degree, Wouter pursued a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and IT from the University of Twente. Wouter successfully completed their master's degree from 2000 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Wouter has obtained certification as a Mendix Rapid Application Developer from Mendix in April 2023.
