Sonya Bridges

Sonya Bridges, MBA, has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the information technology industry. Sonya is currently serving as the Vice President of Technical Solutions at Software Professionals, Inc. In this position, they focus on strategic initiatives to advance the business and technology priorities of the company. Prior to this, they worked as an Assistant Director at North Texas Tollway Authority and as the Assistant Vice President of Information Technology Services at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.

Earlier in their career, Sonya held the position of Sr. Manager at TXU, where they established a new revenue-generating department and managed the implementation of internet and intranet products for various business units. Before that, they worked as a Sr. Project Manager at Hewlett-Packard, a Project Manager/Project Lead at JCPenney, a Sr. Developer at Lockheed Missiles and Space, and a Software Design Engineer at Texas Instruments.

Throughout their career, Sonya has demonstrated strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and execute effective strategies, drive business value, and improve operational excellence.

Sonya Bridges earned a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge between 1982 and 1986. Sonya later pursued an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Texas Woman's University from 2008 to 2009.
