Arjan van der Haar

Arjan van der Haar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Arjan started their career as an EDP Manager at Steigenberger Airport Hotel in 1997 and later worked as an Assistant Customer Support Manager at Van Hessen, where they were responsible for various projects and support tasks. In 2003, Arjan became an ICT Consultant and shareholder at SBit Hospitality Services, where they provided consulting and support services for the hospitality industry.

Arjan joined Hogeschool Windesheim in 2009 as a Performance Test Engineer before transitioning to Friesland Bank as a Performance Test Engineer and later as a Test Coordinator. During their time at Friesland Bank, they managed test projects and ensured the effectiveness and efficiency of testing processes.

In 2009, Arjan also became the owner of Eagle Hospitality B.V., where they were responsible for the overall management of the company until 2014. Arjan then joined Gemeente Hoogeveen as an Opvolgend Raadslid for the VVD party and later became a Raadslid and Fractievoorzitter, focusing on talent development and healthcare issues.

Arjan has also worked at Capgemini as a Facilitator for the LEAD Program, providing leadership development and exploration. Currently, Arjan is working at Sogeti, where they have held various roles, including Test Manager, Delivery Manager, Head of ADM and Cybersecurity, Head of Digital Technology and Cybersecurity, and most recently, Manager Operations Region 'Noordoost'. Arjan'sresponsibilities at Sogeti have involved managing delivery, leading divisions, and overseeing digital and cybersecurity initiatives.

Arjan van der Haar attended Hotelschool Groningen from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, they completed their HAVO/VWO degree at Menso Alting College. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career, including ISTQB Foundation accredited trainer, ISTQB Foundation, TMap Next Advanced, IBM Rational - Rational Unified Process, IBM Optim, TMap Next, ITIL Service Management Foundation, Check E.A.M. Enterprise Acquisition Management, Infogenesis POS, VOIP (Zyxel Valadis), Certified Novell Salesperson, Microsoft MCSE, Fidelio Certified Support Specialist, and Fidelio Front Office Supervisor.
