Courtney Bates

Courtney Bates is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in accounting and business analysis. Currently serving as a Financial Accountant and Business Analyst at Sydney Opera House since March 2018, Courtney excels in variance analysis, budget forecasting, and stakeholder reporting. Prior to this role, Courtney worked at Luna Park Sydney from June 2013 to March 2018, beginning as an Accounts Payable Officer, focusing on payment runs, invoice processing, and financial reporting, before also taking on the role of Guest Relations Host. Courtney's career commenced at Kmart Australia Limited as an Accounts Clerk from July 2007 to September 2014. Academically, Courtney holds a CPA designation from CPA Australia Program and a Bachelor of Business and Commerce in Accounting from Western Sydney University, complemented by an Advanced Diploma in Accounting from TAFE NSW.
