Maria de Marco

Maria De Marco is a seasoned artistic professional with extensive experience in the performing arts sector. Currently serving as Artistic & Managing Director at MADEM PRODUCTIONS since June 2020, Maria focuses on creating new Australian works. As a Speech and Drama Tutor and Musical Theatre Tutor at Speech and Drama Studio, MLC Burwood, Maria teaches children aged 4 to 17 years and conducts workshops during school holidays. Maria has also been actively involved as an Actor and Co-Producer at Walk Now Productions and previously engaged with Teatro A (R) Te, Emu Productions, and the Sydney Opera House in various performance-related roles. With a Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts from Western Sydney University and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment from TAFE, Maria has dedicated a significant part of the career to developing and nurturing talent in performing arts, especially for underprivileged youth through programs like CONverge for the Conservatorium of Music, Sydney.
