Niraj Mehrotra currently serves as SVP & Head of Wholesale Banking Operations at Sohar International, leading a team of over 80 professionals in Trade Finance, Loans & Syndication, Credit Administration, Treasury & Investment Banking Operations, and Payments since September 2022. Previously, at Bank ABC, Mehrotra held the position of Head of Wholesale Banking & Islamic Operations, overseeing a team of 25+, and managed Trade Finance Operations as Head of Trade Finance Operations. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Tata Consultancy Services and Citibank, where strategic direction for trade finance operations was provided and team management exceeded 200 members. Mehrotra began a career at Citi India and holds a PGDIE from the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Government Engineering College.
