MacArena González Sordo

Macarena González Sordo has extensive experience in the hotel industry. Macarena currently holds the position of Subdirector at Soho Boutique Hotels, starting in July 2022. Prior to this, from September 2019 to October 2022, they worked as a Responsable Comercial at Palladium Hotel Costa del Sol.

Before that, Macarena worked at Barceló Hotel Group from 2010 to 2022. Macarena held the role of Global Sales Manager from an unspecified date until October 2022, and prior to that, they worked as an Ejecutivo de Ventas from 2010 until January 2012.

Macarena also has experience at Meliá Hotels International, where they worked from 2002 to 2009. Macarena served as the Gerente de Grupos y Convenciones Meliá México Reforma from February 2002 to January 2004, and prior to that, they worked as a Gestor de cuentas MICE from October 2004 to December 2009.

Macarena González Sordo completed their Técnico en Empresas y Actividades Turísticas degree from the Universidad de Cantabria from 1996 to 1999. Macarena then pursued a Master's degree in Dirección Hotelera from the Universidad de Sevilla, graduating from 2009 to 2011. In 2015, they attended Innwise Management and completed the Programa Superior de Revenue Management.
