Izak du Toit

Izak du Toit is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the oil and energy sectors. Currently serving as Engineering Manager and formerly Plant Engineer at Southern Oil (Pty) Ltd since November 2017, Izak has been instrumental in advancing the company's commitment to healthier oil alternatives and community development in Swellendam. Prior roles include Mechanical Engineer at Clyde Bergemann Africa (PTY) Ltd from November 2014 to October 2017, and System Engineer at Eskom's Matla Power Station from February 2011 to July 2013, where responsibilities involved providing technical support for plant operations. Izak began the career as an Engineer in Training at Eskom Matla Power Station following completion of a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Stellenbosch University, along with obtaining a Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) in 2017. Early experience includes a position as Workshop Assistant at TFDesign in 2009.
