Jesper Alkestrup

Jesper Alkestrup currently serves as a Senior Generative AI Engineer at The Tech Collective, focusing on AI solutions and generative models since November 2023. Jesper is the Founder and CEO of SoilSense, established in February 2017, which specializes in optimizing irrigation solutions. Previous experience includes roles as a Design Engineer at Above.se, Co-Founder of Entropi Design creating high-end cold brew coffee machines, and Co-Founder and facilitator at Idemager, a consultancy for design thinking and rapid prototyping. Jesper also contributed as University Coordinator at Venture Cup, Chief Product Officer at TagOnceNL, and Founder & CEO of Cook4Food, an online platform for social dining. Jesper's educational background includes ongoing studies in Human Centered Artificial Intelligence at DTU, a Master's in Design & Innovation from DTU Honors Programme, and a Bachelor's in Design and Innovation from the same institution, along with additional studies at several prominent universities.
