Joel Beever

Joel Beever is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both the coffee industry and ministry. Currently serving as a Senior Programmatic Specialist at Sokal since November 2021, Joel previously held the position of Programmatic Specialist. Joel's background in the coffee sector includes roles as Cafe Manager at Black and White Coffee Roasters from August 2017 to October 2021 and as a Barista at 3 Bean Coffee from September 2015 to December 2016. In addition to this experience, Joel served as Associate Pastor at Streetlite Christian Fellowship from September 2013 to August 2015. Joel's academic qualifications include a Master of Theology (ThM) focused on Bible/Biblical Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, achieved in May 2023, a Master of Divinity (MDiv) in Missions and Missiology from the same institution, completed in May 2019, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with honors in Chemistry from The Manchester Metropolitan University, awarded in September 2007.
