Garrett Van Dyke's work experience began in 2010 with a role on the Economic Impact Team for the Valero Alamo Bowl. In 2011, they served as the Valero Texas Open Operations and Sponsorship Support Intern for Golf San Antonio. In 2012, they joined Welker and held two roles: Inside Sales, where they developed and supported existing customers to increase sales, and Territory Development, where they were responsible for the overall development of the Rocky Mountain territory within the company's various sales channels. In 2017, Van Dyke became the Business Development Manager at Solarcraft, Inc.

Garrett Van Dyke attended Trinity University from 2007 to 2011, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.
