Yogendra Nigam has a diverse and extensive work experience in various industries. Starting in 1995, they worked as a Lecturer at Govt. Polytechnic Ambikapur and later at Govt. Engineering College Bilaspur, where they taught mining engineering courses. In 1998, they joined Gulf Oil Corporation Limited as a Sr. Asstt. Manager, where they introduced new products and established them in the market. From 2006 to 2007, they served as the Manager (Technical Services & Exports) at Premier Explosives Limited, managing technical services for industrial explosives in India and abroad. From 2007 to 2011, they worked as a Product Manager at Indian Explosives Limited, introducing and managing blast-based consultancy services for the mining industry. From 2011 to 2016, they held sales positions at Sandvik Asia Pvt. Ltd., initially as a Sales Manager and later as a Senior Sales Manager, focusing on surface drills sales in Northern India. Yogendra then moved on to become the Deputy General Manager (Surface Drills Sales) at Sandvik Asia Pvt Ltd from 2016 to 2018. Yogendra joined Orica Mining Services, India in 2018 as the General Manager-Technical Services,India, and later took on the role of General Manager Sales- Civil, Exports & Trade, India until February 2023. Currently, they are the Head-Technical Services, India at Solar Industries India Limited.
Yogendra Nigam's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Raipur (C.G.), which they obtained from 1990 to 1994. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in Mining and Mine Surveying from Govt Polytechnic Shahdol (MP) between 1988 and 1990.
