Jeff Bourne

Jeff Bourne is an experienced engineer with a diverse background in design and tooling. Currently serving as a Tooling Engineer at Solar Plastics, LLC since November 2021, Jeff previously owned Henry County Sharpening, where knife and tool sharpening services were offered from September 2016 to September 2022. Additional experience includes roles at Springfield Armory, Inc. as a Designer/Drafter/Inspector, where new parts and detailed drawings were created, and at LSI Industries Inc. as a Design Engineer, focusing on outdoor lighting fixtures. Earlier experience includes Associate Engineer at Fresenius Medical Care, where validations for medical equipment were performed, and Design Engineer at Optek Technology, specializing in assembly and test fixtures. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Western Illinois University, completed between 1995 and 1998.
