Pablo Dias began their career in 2012 as a R&D Junior Engineer for Praxair Inc. In 2015, they became a PhD Student and Lecturer at UFRGS. In 2018, they took on the role of Associate Lecturer at Macquarie University, where they taught Heat and Mass Transfer, Thermodynamics, Engineering Materials, Engineering Dynamics and Systems Design and Engineering, and conducted research in waste management, reverse logistics, product stewardship, consumer awareness and Australia’s National Recycling Scheme. In 2020, they became a Lecturer at UNSW. In 2022, they Co-Founded and became the Chief Technology Officer of SOLARCYCLE, Inc., a tech-driven platform providing solar asset owners a low-cost, eco-friendly, comprehensive process for retiring solar systems and repurposing them for new uses.
Pablo Dias completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul between 2008 and 2013. Pablo then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Materials Science and Technology from the same university, which they completed in 2015. Following this, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering from Macquarie University in 2019, and also a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science & Technology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in 2019.
