Susan Corbett

Susan Corbett has over 30 years of experience in software engineering and bioinformatics. Susan has held roles such as Senior Computational Scientist, Principal Computational Scientist, and Computational Senior Scientist at companies like Solarea Bio, Directed Genomics, and Indigo. Susan's work involved developing sequencing datasets, automating sequence analysis pipelines, and designing DNA assembly and annotation pipelines. Susan has also contributed to the commercialization of genome sequencing technologies and created bioinformatics tools for plant microbiome studies.

Susan Corbett completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Gordon College in 1989. Susan went on to earn a Master of Science in Biological Sciences and Biotechnology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2012. Prior to that, they studied Biology and Biotechnology at the same institution from 2007 to 2010.
