Jaime Azamar G., MBA

Jaime Azamar G. is currently the Group CFO at Solarever USA starting from the year 2023. Jaime was previously the VP of Allen & Co, where they were responsible for finance business partnership, corporate strategy, and M&A deal-making, in addition to implementing cost/SG&A cutting strategies. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as the CFO of Pochteca, leading the accounting, treasury, financial planning, M&A, IPO, funding strategy, tax, FCF, AR, AP, audit, compliance, strategic planning, and investor relations teams in Mexico and LATAM and also demonstrated their C-level expertise in legal, IT, operations, business development, procurement, logistics, and HR. Before that, they were Finance Director at LLG Group, managing accounting, payroll, FP&A, legal, IT, and business corporate strategy teams. Jaime also worked at Coca-Cola FEMSA where they were involved in M&A deals, strategic planning, and corporate finance. Among their earlier roles, they were a Business Development Head for MOBILITY ADO, where they spearheaded Balanced Scorecard projects, managed financial performance and Capex, and presented financial statements and KPIs to CFO and Divisional Director. Additionally, they served as a Treasury VP for IE Mexico Club, where they were responsible for managing the budget and press release of conferences.

Jaime Azamar G. has a diverse education history with a focus on business management. Jaime completed the Management Development Program at the IPADE Business School in 2019 and received a Marketing Diploma from the Universidad Iberoamericana Ciudad de México in 2016. Additionally, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from two different schools: IE Business School in 2010 with a focus on investment banking, M&A, venture capital, and private equity, and The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in the same year with a focus on marketing. Azamar also holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Jaime has furthered their education by obtaining certification in Capital IQ from the Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI) in April 2023.
