Jelina Nursimulu, EIT

Jelina Nursimulu, EIT, has a comprehensive work experience in various roles. Jelina most recently worked as a Process Engineer at Solaris MCI, starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Residence Advisor at UBC Student Housing and Hospitality Services from August 2021 to August 2022.

In 2020, Jelina gained experience as a Chemical Engineering Co-op Student at Polymer Recycling Technologies from September 2020 to August 2021. Jelina also briefly worked as a Project Manager at Emerson from July 2020 to September 2020.

Their career began as a Residence Advisor at UBC Student Housing and Hospitality Services in August 2019, where they worked until September 2020. Jelina has demonstrated their proficiency and growth in various engineering and advisory roles throughout their work experience.

Jelina Nursimulu received their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of British Columbia in 2022. During their time at university, they obtained additional certifications including the Engineer In Training designation from Engineers and Geoscientists BC in December 2022, as well as the Chemical Safety Certification and WHMIS certifications from UBC Engineering, Faculty of Applied Science in September 2018.
