Jonathan Cohen

Jonathan Cohen has diverse work experience in finance and management. Jonathan is currently the Director and Head of Finance at Solarise Africa, where they help drive Africa's progress through smart financing solutions. Prior to this, Jonathan worked as the Managing Director at Exceed (Johannesburg) Inc., where they gained experience across various industries such as security, logistics, and property. At Exceed, they provided advisory, taxation, accounting, auditing, and company secretarial services to clients. Before joining Exceed, they worked as a Candidate Partner and Audit Manager at Nwanda Inc. and as a Senior Accountant at PwC.

Jonathan Cohen completed a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting from the University of Johannesburg between 2001 and 2004. In 2010, they pursued a Higher Diploma in International Taxation at the University of Johannesburg. In 2013, they attended the University of the Witwatersrand for a Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Management Development Programme.
