Sakkie Van Wijk

Sakkie Van Wijk has over 20 years of work experience. From 1996 to 1999, they worked as a Sales Representative for SABMiller. From 1999 to 2003, they were the Head of Sales for Inland and Coastal at Credcor, a division of Nedbank. In 2003, they became the Head of New Business Development, Sales and Services at Nedbank. From 2006 to 2008, they were the General Manager of Leasing and Insurance at Toyota Tsusho Africa. From 2008 to 2013, they were the Managing Director of Leasing and Asset Finance at Redinc Capital. From 2016 to 2017, they were the Co-Founder and Director of Accelerator Africa. Finally, from 2017 to present, they have been the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Solarise Africa.

Sakkie Van Wijk began their education in 1991 when they obtained their Senior Certificate / Matric [Grade 12] from Colesberg High School. Sakkie then attended North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit from 1992 to 1994 and obtained a B. Comm. degree. Sakkie continued their studies at the same university from 1992 to 1995, graduating with a B.Comm. Honours degree in Business Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
