Benjamin Newmark

Benjamin Newmark has a wide range of experience in the finance and business development fields. In 2009, they interned to the CEO of Kind Consumer, a healthcare research and development company. From 2010 to 2012, they worked at Deutsche Bank in Investment Banking. In 2015, they were the Strategy & Business Development at Better. In 2016, they were the Chief Of Staff at Anibim / Micadi. From 2017 to the present, they have been the President, President & Chief Financial Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Director of Finance & Strategy at SolasCure, a biotech company. At SolasCure, they are responsible for leading strategy, raising $30m capital, hiring team, capital planning, investor relations and business development. Benjamin also runs all internal business operations including HR, legal, compliance, technology, treasury, tax, and strategy.

Benjamin Newmark attended Harvard University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned an AB in Applied Mathematics. Benjamin then attended Harvard Business School from 2014 to 2016, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA). In April 2021, they obtained a Data Science (Python) certification from Dataquest.io, and they are currently pursuing a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) certification from CIMA.
