Laurie Stern

Laurie is a Senior Associate with experience in business development, marketing and journalism. Prior to joining Solebury Trout, she spent six years at CIBC Private Wealth Management, working to bring high net worth families and foundation/endowment clients to the firm. In this role she built relationships with various referral networks consisting of brokerage firms and other financial planning professionals, developed strong client service skills and led the event planning and sponsorship efforts for the New York office. Previously she worked in development for a global nonprofit, and has experience in journalism as both a copy editor and freelance reporter.

Laurie holds B.A. degrees in Journalism and Psychology from the College of Communications and College of Liberal Arts at Pennsylvania State University. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, biking and travelling.
