David Nocek

David Nocek is senior vice president and chief human resources officer (CHRO) for Solenis, where he is responsible for all aspects of global human resources (HR).

Prior to joining Solenis in 2014, Nocek was responsible for Global Talent Management at Ashland Inc. He joined Ashland in 2010 as the global HR leader for the Ashland Specialty Ingredients and Ashland Water Technologies business groups. Prior to Ashland, Nocek was a global HR business director with Dow Chemical Company. He began his career and held various positions of increasing responsibility in HR leadership over a 10-year span with Rohm and Haas Company.

Nocek holds a bachelor of arts in industrial/organizational psychology from Moravian College, and a master of science in human resource development from Villanova University. He attained his Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification in 2007. Nocek also completed an executive education program in Strategic Business Leadership at the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business. He is also a member of the board of directors for the International Employers Forum (IEF), a non-profit organization dedicated to providing information and networking opportunities for legal and human resources professionals whose organizations employ workers globally.
