Phil Farris Jr.

Phil Farris Jr. is a Product Development Scientist at SolEpoxy, Inc. since January 2012, focusing on optically clear molding compounds and technical sales support. Prior experience includes roles as a Process Engineer, Staff Chemist, and Safety Manager at Advanced Monolithic Ceramics, where Phil developed an electroless nickel/gold plating process and provided technical assembly support. Phil also served as a High School Science Teacher certified in Chemistry and general science from April 2004 to June 2007 across multiple school districts. Earlier experience as a Formulation Chemist at Cytec Industries involved creating custom polymer products and providing on-site customer support. Phil holds a BS in Chemistry and Physics from the University of Pittsburgh and attended the State University of New York at Fredonia.
