Chirag Patel

Chirag Patel is an experienced technical manager and Principal Software Engineer with expertise in the development of Telematics and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, focusing on Embedded Linux platform development at Solera, Inc. since June 2015. Prior roles include firmware design at Keithley Instruments, where management of an offshore team was executed, and staff engineering at QLogic, concentrating on embedded products for supercomputers. Chirag has a robust background in embedded systems, demonstrated through significant achievements such as designing a distributed file system service and improving code upgrade times. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
