Diana Aponte

Diana Aponte is an experienced aerospace professional currently serving as the Head of Product at Solestial, where the focus is on innovative and cost-effective solar power solutions for space missions. Previously, Diana held the position of Lead Mission Manager at Virgin Orbit, leading mission execution and serving as the primary customer contact, while also ensuring the timely delivery of payloads. Diana's early career at Boeing included roles such as Small Satellite Electrical Power Lead and Spacecraft Design and Systems Engineer, contributing to power systems and thermal controls for satellites. Prior experience also includes a position as a Reliability and Safety Engineer at Rockwell Collins. Diana Aponte holds a Master's degree in Astronautical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
