Lauren Karon

Lauren Karon has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2009, they worked as a Programs Assistant at UC Santa Cruz, where they organized events, improved communication, and honed their networking skills. Lauren then joined City Year in 2012 and served as an Americorps Member before becoming a Senior Americorps Member and Team Leader in 2013. In 2015, Lauren joined Education Pioneers as a Data Analyst Fellow, where they completed high-impact projects and gained leadership development. Lauren then returned to City Year as an Impact Coach and later became a Program Manager. In 2017, Lauren joined First 5 LA as an Organizational Learning Specialist before transitioning to ICF Next in 2019. At ICF Next, they held various roles, including Associate, Senior Consultant, and finally Manager in Business Consulting. Currently, Lauren works as a Contractor and Program Manager at Soli Organic, starting in 2023.

Lauren Karon attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2008 to 2012. Lauren obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a double major in Feminist Studies and Anthropology.
