Kathleen Walton

Kathleen Walton has worked in a variety of roles in the financial sector since 1991. Kathleen began their career at PwC as an Auditor/Consultant, then moved on to Foley & Lardner LLP as an Associate. After that, they worked at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP as an Associate. In 1999, they became a Principal at Lake Capital, a $500 million private equity fund focused on control investments in middle-market companies in the business services sector. In 2005, they joined William Blair Capital Partners as a Managing Director, where they identified and evaluated investment opportunities in the business and financial services sector. In 2007, they became the General Counsel at FinanSure, a full service educational finance company that originated more than $600 million in student loans annually. That same year, they also served as the Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel to WilliamPaid.com, a leading site geared to the tenant who wants to simplify the process of making their rent payments. From 2013 to 2020, they worked at K·Coe Isom as the Board Chairman and Principal. Most recently, they have been the Chief Financial Officer at NITROcrete since 2020 and will become the CFO at Solidia Technologies® in 2022.

Kathleen Walton attended the University of Wisconsin Law School, where they obtained their Doctor of Law (J.D.). Prior to that, they attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting.
