Ray Yong

Ray Yong has extensive experience in sales and service management within the power supply and automation industries. Currently serving as Regional Sales Manager for AMETEK Solidstate Controls since September 2022, Ray oversees new equipment and aftermarket sales in the South Asia and Pacific regions. Previous roles include International Service Manager at AMETEK (2005-2016), where Ray managed service operations for UPS systems across various sectors, and Sales Manager at Cegelec Pte, Ltd and Singapore Technology Electronics Pte. Ltd, focused on project and service sales to commercial, industrial, and government markets. Ray's foundational experience includes key positions at Tyco Fire & Security Services and Honeywell, where responsibilities spanned service operations and business development across Southeast Asia. Ray holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and a Diploma of Education from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
