Simon Cocking

Simon Cocking has been working in the tech industry since 2018. Simon began as an Advisor for CurveBlock, ZIPCOIN Initial Coin Offer, Cura Network and Ethershift. In 2019, they became the Chief Editor of Irish Tech News, CryptoCoinNews and InvestInIT, a Brand Ambassador for Moyee Coffee Ireland, an Advisor for AllForCrypto, and an Investment & Media Relations for Moonwhale Ventures. In 2020, they took on the role of Editor In Chief for Crypto Commonwealth. Simon is currently the Chief Advisor for Solidus Ai Tech Ltd.

Simon Cocking has a diverse educational background. Simon started their educational journey in 1987 when they attended the University of Sussex and received a Bachelor's degree in American Studies. In 1989, they were an exchange student at Georgetown University, majoring in Theirtory. In 1993, they earned a Master's degree in Project Management from the University of Bradford. In 2009, they completed a FETAC Level 6 in Managing Organisations at the National College of Ireland. In 2011, they attended Carraig Dulra Organic & Permaculture Farm and completed Permaculture Design Level 1 and Level 2, focusing on permaculture design, plant species, herbs, integrated planting, structure design and construction, and gardening, horticulture, and plant cultivation. In 2012, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Software Engineering from the Technological University Dublin. In 2013, they received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Digital Technology & Design from the same university. Finally, in 2014, they completed the Innovation Academy at University College Dublin, specializing in innovation and entrepreneurship.
