Viktor Seregelyi has a diverse work experience. From 2011-2015, they were an Instructor at Cooligan Martial Arts and Fitness. From 2015-2016, they were a Research Assistant at The Conference Board of Canada. From 2016-2017, they were a Policy Advisor at the Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation. From 2017-2018, they were a Research Assistant at the Ontario Ministry of Finance, where they employed statistical and machine learning models to estimate the impacts of changes to minimum wage policies, predict business support funding for companies looking to expand in Ontario, and predict the probability of companies closing or de-localizing. Viktor also used R to automate the creation of recurring reports on major economic indicators and created and delivered a presentation on applying machine learning techniques in economics for the Ontario Ministry of Finance’s Chief Economist and Assistant Deputy Minister. From 2018-2019, they were a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto. Since 2019, they have been an AI Data Scientist/Developer at Solink.

Viktor Seregelyi obtained a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Toronto in 2019. Viktor had previously earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Waterloo in 2018. Additionally, Viktor has obtained certifications in Analyzing Big Data with Hive and Apache Spark Essential Training from LinkedIn in September 2019.
