Min Ho Kim is an Associate Principal and Senior Designer at SCB, with a focus on commercial office and mixed-use developments. Min’s talents and accomplishments as an architect are rooted in a design approach that prioritizes the user experience and a sense of place. Through the integration of structure, technology, materials, and sustainability parameters based on programmatic and contextual analysis, Min’s portfolio of work reflects a commitment to high-profile building design and exceptional project management. His attention to detail coupled with excellent problem-solving skills ensures that each of his projects are carried out accurately and to the highest standard with economical and creative implementation of systems and materials.

Min’s 15+ year career includes world-class, large-scale mixed-used projects, Class A office towers, 5-star hotels, commercial facilities, and government facilities. Since joining SCB, Min has been involved with the Valvoline Headquarters in Lexington, KY; The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum in Chicago’s Lincoln Park; the highly sustainable Chicago North Headquarters for ComEd; O’Hare International Airport’s Terminal 5 Garage; and Telegraph Tower in Oakland, CA, to name a few.

Min is a member of the firm’s Office Research & Development group and the American Institute of Architects (AIA). He received his Master of Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.
