Bernardo S.

Bernardo S. has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Bernardo started their career as a 3rd Engineer Officer Trainee (Cadet) at Petrobras Transpote S.A. in April 2011 and worked in that role until January 2013. During this time, they also worked as a 3rd Engineer Officer at BRASCREW from February to April 2013 and at Olympic Shipping AS from July to August 2013. In September 2013, Bernardo joined Solstad Offshore ASA as a 3rd Engineer Officer, where they served on various vessels including PSV M/V Far Star, AHTS M/V Far Senator, and AHTS M/V BOS Turmalina. In September 2019, they were promoted to the position of 2nd Engineer Officer at Solstad Offshore ASA. After serving in this role for almost three years, Bernardo was appointed the Chief Engineer in June 2022. Bernardo is currently holding this position at Solstad Offshore ASA.

Bernardo S. began their education in 1995 at Cultura Inglesa, where they studied for eight years. In 2008, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Nautical Sciences, specializing in Machine, at Escola de Formação de Oficiais da Marinha Mercante. Bernardo completed their degree in 2010. Continuing their education, Bernardo obtained a Postgraduate degree in Aperfeiçoamento de Máquinas from the same institution in 2018-2019.
