Eva María Fernández Castro

Eva María Fernández Castro has diverse work experience in the fields of engineering and project management. Eva María worked at SOLUTE, starting as a Mechanical Engineer in 2008, where they optimized and certified structural components for satellites and conducted signal data analysis and certification for JBT Corporation. In 2009, they performed structural analysis and dimensioning for Airbus A350 Belly Fairing at SENER. Eva María then became a Wind Turbine Loads Engineer, working with leading manufacturers like Siemens Gamesa, Nordex Acciona, and General Electric. At SOLUTE, they also served as a GE Key Account Manager and a Senior Engineering Manager, where they handled project coordination, team leadership, and customer interfacing. Most recently, they held the position of Chief Operating Officer at TSR Wind. Prior to their work at SOLUTE, Eva María also worked as an Assistant Scholar in the Institute of Ergonomics at Technische Universität Darmstadt from 2007 to 2008.

Eva María Fernández Castro earned a M.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Mechanical from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2001 to 2008. Additionally, they completed a Master's thesis in the Institute of Ergonomics at Technische Universität Darmstadt from 2006 to 2008, obtaining a degree in Maschinenbauingenieur.
