Catherine Cheney

Catherine Cheney is a Senior Editor at Devex since July 2015, where leadership involves guiding the editorial vision for news events and coverage related to global development and the Sustainable Development Goals through various journalistic formats. Concurrently, Catherine serves as Manager of Strategic Relationships for the Solutions Journalism Network, focusing on building relationships and expanding solutions journalism on the West Coast. Previously, Catherine played a pivotal role as Special Projects Editor at NationSwell, where contributions were essential in launching the organization. Other experience includes roles as Trend Lines Reporter at World Politics Review, Social Media Editor at Al-Monitor, and an Arthur F. Burns Fellow at the International Center for Journalists. Catherine's early experience includes web production and editorial roles at Politico and the Yale Daily News, supplemented by internship experience at The Washington Post. Catherine holds both a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Yale University.
