Eva Blanc

Eva Blanc currently serves as the People and Culture Manager at Solutions Journalism Network since October 2019, overseeing day-to-day people and culture operations. Previously, Eva held multiple roles at Chavela’s from January 2017 to February 2020, including Program & Operations Associate and J-School Partnership Assistant, while also working as a waitress, providing recommendations on beverages and traditional Mexican cuisine. Additional experience includes working as a Research & Operations Assistant at Prasad Consulting & Research, where Eva collaborated on fundraising strategies, and as the Lead Operational Support at Bird + Stone, managing shipping operations. Early career experience includes an editorial internship at Incarcerated Voices and teaching English to refugee minors at La Fondation Orient-Occident. Eva holds a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from Long Island University, where the focus included xenophobia, social stratification, race relations, and critical race theory.
