Ben Johnston has worked in the software engineering sector since 2009. Ben began their career at Sustainable Energy Partners as an Energy Analyst, working on evaluating and facilitating large scale energy efficiency improvements to commercial customers' building fleets. In 2010, they moved to Sollega Inc. as a PV System Designer, where they created CAD Drawings for the PV systems submitted by integrators and calculated wind uplift forces on systems. In 2012, they studied Ruby on Rails, TDD, pair programming, GIT/source control, code reviews and software development best practices at Dev Bootcamp. Following this, they worked as a Software Developer at Milyoni, Inc. and then as a Software Engineer at Rubyriders LLC. In 2014, they co-founded Cloverpop, a software-as-a-service platform for managing business decision making across the enterprise. Ben is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Solv.
Ben Johnston received their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Trinity College Dublin in 2008. Ben has since taken courses at Dev Bootcamp, Udacity, and Udacity.
