Brendan Nelson GAICD RPIA (Fellow) is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic planning and management across various sectors. Currently serving as Partner in Advisory at Solve Property Group and as Director and Co-Founder of Edge Thoroughbreds, Brendan is committed to innovative solutions and transparency in horse racing syndication. Previous roles include General Manager - Planning at macroplan, Chief Executive Officer for Regional Growth NSW Development Corporation, and various leadership positions within the Department of Planning and Environment and the Department of Premier and Cabinet (NSW). Brendan's leadership at the Planning Institute of Australia includes roles as National President and Chair of the Global Planners Network. An educator, Brendan has also contributed as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Southern Queensland. Educational credentials include a Graduate Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning from QUT and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Griffith University.
