Alex Andres Valencia Gonzalez has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. Alex Andres began their career in 2000 as a PC Users magazine programming section writer at MP Ediciones. In 2006, they moved to Synapsis as a Java Semi Sr developer, where they were responsible for designing the customer service module and creating solutions for different types of requirements. In 2008, they joined Electronic Arts as a Java Sr developer (Globant contractor). During their time there, they were a member of the development team for EA's Hydra web application and was involved in connecting the Hydra web application module to commercial transactions. In 2009, they joined Qm Digital Agency as a developer and Google as a Java Sr developer (Globant contractor). At Google, they were responsible for creating and implementing new tools and managing the refactoring process of the administration console. In 2010, they joined YouTube as a Software Engineer, where they were involved in the Livestreaming project. In 2019, they moved to Mercari, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineering, where they were involved in both Architecture and development projects in Golang. Finally, in 2020, they joined SimpliRoute as VP of Engineering and Technical Manager, and in 2023 they moved to Solvento as VP of Engineering.
Alex Andres Valencia Gonzalez has a diverse educational background. From 1993 to 2000, they attended Escuela Tecnica ORT 2, where they obtained a Technician degree in Computer. From 2000 to 2004, they studied Japanese at Touzai and obtained an intermediate degree in the language. Finally, from 2002 to 2010, they attended the University of Buenos Aires, where they earned a Bachelor degree in Computer Science.
