Claudio Schmidli

Claudio Schmidli is a seasoned professional in the fields of software development and microscopy, currently serving as a Software Developer and Digitalization Manager at Solvias since August 2023. Prior to this role, Claudio held the position of Scientist in Microscopy at Solvias from October 2019 to April 2023, where responsibilities included customer communication, sample analysis, data processing, and the development of Python interfaces for SQL databases. With a solid academic background, Claudio earned a PhD in Nanosciences from the University of Basel in 2019, along with multiple degrees in Data Science from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland. Previous experiences include a research position at the Swiss Nanoscience Institute, where significant contributions were made in developing robotic systems for protein purification, and an internship at CSEM focused on nanoimprint lithography and optical elements.
