Mario Santos

Mario Santos has over 15 years of work experience in software engineering and related roles. Mario started their career in 2004 as a Network Administrator at UniBH - Centro Universitário de Belo Horizonte. In 2005, they joined Visiontech Medical Optics as a Mobile Software Engineer, where they developed a mobile application (as well as its backend) that won the prize of the best mobile solution in Brazil. In 2007, they joined InCode Software as a Junior Software Engineer and a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for implementing the User Interface for the XGIG Generator and played the role of a team leader of one of the products. In 2010, they joined Finisar Corporation as a Senior Technical Consultant and Axxiom - Tecnologia e Inovação as a Team Lead, Mobile Developer, and Backend Developer. In 2018, they joined FITec as a Senior Java Software Engineer and in 2019, they joined bLive as a Project Lead. Currently, they are working at Solytic as a Team Lead, where they are leading a team of skilled engineers to combat climate change.

Mario Santos has completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Centro Universitário de Belo Horizonte between 2002 and 2007. Mario then completed a Postgraduated in Software Engineering from PUC Minas in 2010. Mario furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Strategic Business Management from Centro Universitário Newton Paiva between 2011 and 2013. Mario has also obtained certifications from Atlassian, freeCodeCamp, Microsoft, and Alura Cursos Online between 2017 and 2022.
