Suzanne Obiorah

Suzanne Obiorah is an experienced healthcare executive currently serving as the Executive Director at Somerset West Community Health Centre since March 2023. Prior to this role, Suzanne held various positions, including Director of Gender and Race Equity, Inclusion, Indigenous Relations and Social Development at the City of Ottawa from February 2021 to March 2023, and Director of Primary Care and Regional Programs at Somerset West Community Health Centre from February 2018 to February 2021. Suzanne's extensive background also includes significant contributions to The Ottawa Hospital, where Suzanne served as Professional Practice Manager and Chief of Dietetics, managing high-quality health professional services and operational standards. Suzanne held the role of Vice President as an elected Professional Council Member at the College of Dietitians of Ontario from June 2014 to June 2018. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Management from the University of Saint Mary and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Food and Nutrition from Ryerson University.
