Tobias Schaper

Tobias Schaper was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer in November 2021.

Tobias has worked at Solvay Group since 2003, where he has held the positions of Global Finance Director and Senior Financial Controller in various business units. Since 2017, he has notably been Global Finance Director of the Soda Ash & Derivatives entity. Tobias, who is German, has worked in the United States, Belgium and France in various roles, where he has successfully positioned the Finance function to support the development of the business and has helped to define new business models.

Tobias holds a Master’s in Business Administration and Finance from Eichstätt-Ingolstadt University, Germany, and a Master’s in Economics from University College Dublin, Ireland.
