Sanne van der Wal

Sanne van der Wal is a Senior Researcher at SOMO, a position held since June 2004, specializing in action research related to social, economic, and environmental issues within international value chains, with a particular focus on food and agriculture, supply chain transparency, and sustainability certification. Prior to this role, Sanne worked as a researcher at AKB/Goede Waar from 1998 to 2004, conducting research and campaigning for sustainable production practices in the garment and food industries while educating consumers. Sanne holds a Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Amsterdam, earned between August 1989 and July 1995.
